Local Driver – tries to add their Toyota to The English Car Collection

It would have been easier to call first to make an appointment !!!!!!! and my door is always open to visitors that park in the parking lot.

I was just starting a talk to the Boys at Pacific Lodge Youth Services when i got the call “Someone has driven into your building” I got my LaZerCAD president to drive over from the office and survey the situation.

Sure enough – it was like a scene out of a movie with Fire, Ambulance and Sheriffs in attendance.

The lady allegedly had a seizure, bounced of the oncoming traffic and hit the end column supporting the building. If she had hit the building a few feet to the left, she would have gone straight thru the wall and demolished four of our cars. Thankfully first and foremost she survived and was OK (taken to the hospital for a checkup). The cars sustained a few chips from the flying glass, the door was demolished but the building was structurally OK.

Next time i would hope she would put a call in to my General Manager and book an appointment to see the cars ….. and NO i don’t need a Toyota in the English Car Collection.

  1. Tom bellows says:

Glad she wasn’t injured severely and that none of the cars was likewise.
